Your book sounds fabulous. I agree using an important topic as a backdrop to a story can heighten reader interest.
Ideas for my books come from everywhere. Many come from the news, or television shows. The book idea for the book I'm currently working on came from Dancing With the Stars, although my book has no dancing in it!
Congratulations on your newest book, Marilyn. You are a prolific writer and your series sound great! Will have to add them to my TBR list!
